The SurrealArts Teams Return to SDCC with New Panels, New Titles, and Exclusive Reveals!
"Build the World: A Live Ideation Workshop" unites award-winning creatives — filmmakers, VFX artists, writers, and more — for an interactive live pitch session on July 25
SAN DIEGO, CA — July 11, 2026 — SurrealArts Group, a global creative and visual effects collective, returns to San Diego Comic-Con International, continuing a tradition dating back to 2021 of exhibiting alongside its publishing and comics divisions and participating in panels on media and pop culture. This year's presence brings a live audience workshop alongside two major announcements: an early access preview of Creative Divergence and an exclusive first look at the trailer for Chris Browne's Territorial.
On Saturday, July 25, from 3:00–4:00 PM in Room 11 of the San Diego Convention Center, SurrealArts Group presents "Build the World: A Live Ideation Workshop," presented with their SurrealArts Studios indie development division and Diwata Komiks. Founder and Executive Producer Mark A.J. Nazal will be joined by Creative Director Kino Scialabba and a panel of accomplished creatives from across the entertainment industry for what amounts to a giant writer's room — inviting the audience to pitch story ideas and develop concepts and visuals live, in real time!
Creative Divergence: Early Access Preview
SurrealArts Group will feature a new application from Creative Divergence, an associated division led by Creative Technologist Mark Jabourian, currently in beta and built for independent creatives looking to streamline their workflow.
